"B" Grade

Not long ago, this species had no commercial use whatsoever. You could use it to smoke your meat, and that was about it. Well, times have changed.

It turns out that Red Alder is an excellent appearance-grade species, after all. Think of it as using Cherry, without the problems that species presents.

If you haven't discovered Red Alder, it's time to see what all the fuss is about. This wood is rapidly increasing in popularity in all applications, especially cabinets, doors and decorative panels.

It's a very versatile wood, with the high grades clean and classy and the lower grades warm and casual.

Idaho Veneer color-matches all of our Alder for the most consistent pallet-to-pallet color standards in the business.
